Every two years Reel Socialchecks what data it holds and removes it if it is no longer needed.

What does Reel Social use it for?

Any of the information listed above might be needed to manage its activities – this can include photo/video footage under legitimate interest. Reel Social will not use this data for anything else unless it has your active consent for that additional use.

When photos/video footage are to be used under legitimate interest, Reel Social will undertake to:

  • Inform public/contacts when photos/videos are being taken
  • Minimise the risk of someone being identified when used publicly
  • Store the photos/videos anonymously and avoid saving files using members’ names whenever possible. Photos/videos will not be linked to any other
  • Data Reel Social might have on the individual
  • Store everything safely and securely

What data does Reel Social collect when you browse our website?

When you browse our website, we process data about your use of the website. This may include your approximate geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, as well as information about the timing, frequency and pattern of your website visits. This data is non-personally identifiable and so you are anonymous to us. This data is stored in our Analytics service, Google Analytics, for an indefinite period of time, or until we decide we no longer need it for the purposes outlined above.

Does Reel Social share your data with anyone else?

Reel Social will never give your data to third parties for that third party to use. Reel Social will sometimes use third-party services (e.g. Dropbox) to store or process your data. Reel Social will always make sure that any third parties are reputable and secure and that your data is kept safe.

What can you ask Reel Social to do?

At any time you can ask to view, update or correct any data Reel Social hold on you. You can also ask that Reel Social stops using your data or that Reel Social erases it. To request any of these, please contact Reel Social via info@reelsocial.media Any request will be dealt with within one month.

What data does Reel Social collect when you purchase tickets for events through the website?

Personal data entered on the ticket payment page will be stored securely and deleted within 7 days of the event for which the tickets have been purchased. Credit card details are encrypted and not available to Reel Social. If you have ticked the box marked ‘Save payment information to my account for future purchases’, this will only be valid for future purchases of tickets for the same event.
